Tasche.Tüte.Tote x Lintex

The exhibition ‘Tasche.Tüte.Tote x Lintex’ showcases extraordinary bag designs created by Berlin-based fashion and product designers. The exhibition takes its cue from Ursula K. Le Guin’s The Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction, which describes the bag as one of the most primal cultural tools – a carrying vessel that makes community and storytelling possible. The bag is an everyday object, simultaneously a fashion and product item, to which everyone has a connection.
At the center is not just the finished object, but the creative design process itself. Sketches, fabric samples, photographs and process models, presented on Lintex pinboards, reveal the journey to the finished design.
Initiated by Berlin-based designers Luisa Kahlfeldt and Christina Looshorn, in collaboration with the Swedish family company Lintex, known for its high-end whiteboards and pinboards for offices, schools, and workplaces.

Die Ausstellung Tasche.Tüte.Tote x Lintex zeigt außergewöhnliche Taschenobjekte, entworfen von Berliner Mode- und Produktdesigner:innen. Ausgangspunkt ist Ursula K. Le Guins The Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction, die die Tasche als eines der ursprünglichsten kulturellen Werkzeuge beschreibt – als Tragebehältnis, das Gemeinschaft und Geschichten ermöglicht. Die Tasche ist Alltagsgegenstand, gleichzeitig Mode- und Produktobjekt, zu dem jede:r eine Beziehung hat.
Im Mittelpunkt steht nicht nur das fertige Objekt, sondern der kreative Entwurfsprozess. Skizzen, Materialproben, Fotos, und Prozessmodelle, präsentiert auf Lintex Pinnwänden, machen den Weg zum fertigen Entwurf sichtbar.
Initiiert von den Berliner Designerinnen Luisa Kahlfeldt und Christina Looshorn, in Kollaboration mit dem schwedischen Familienunternehmen Lintex, bekannt für seine high-end Schreibtafeln und Pinnwände für Büros, Schulen und Arbeitsplätze.
