see:tech

For years, the labs at the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin have been producing work that extends beyond the academy: as a source of inspiration, a technological foundation, and a starting point for products and research projects. With the exhibition “see:tech,” the academy is showcasing these origins for the first time. The exhibition brings together exemplary works from three key labs—the Rapid Prototyping Lab, the Soft Rapid Prototyping Lab, and the eLAB.

In den Laboren der weißensee kunsthochschule berlin entstehen seit Jahren Arbeiten, die über die Hochschule hinaus wirken: als Inspirationsquelle, als technologische Grundlage, als Ausgangspunkt für Produkte und Forschungsprojekte. Mit der Ausstellung see:tech macht die Hochschule diesen Ursprung erstmals sichtbar. Die Ausstellung versammelt exemplarische Arbeiten aus drei zentralen Laboren – dem Rapid Prototyping Lab, dem Soft Rapid Prototyping Lab und dem eLAB.
