At the innovation hub Urban Tech Republic, people, perspectives, and insights converge to showcase the creative energy, knowledge, and practice in the field of sustainable design and building culture. Inside a freight hall at the former Tegel Airport, where pioneers today develop urban technologies in their workshops, the innovation hub presents multiple material worlds together with academic institutions and startup. Am Innovationsort – Urban Tech Republic – werden Menschen, Perspektiven und Erkenntnisse zusammengeführt, um kreative Energie, Wissen und Praxis im Feld nachhaltiger Design- und Baukultur aufzuzeigen. In der Frachthalle des ehemaligen Flughafens Tegel werden mittlerweile in Werkstätten urbane Technologien entwickelt. Dort präsentiert der Innovationshub gemeinsam mit akademischen Einrichtungen und Startups multiple Materialwelten. Im Rahmen der Ausstellung Material Culture: Matter of Place.
